THE REVEL STORY
Our story started back in 1991, when two friends came together to open a small bar in Ashton-under-Lyne, Manchester. Fast-forward over 30 years and the Group has evolved into a portfolio of c. 60 venues, employing around 3,000 individuals across the UK, delivering wide range of premium and fun cocktails and drinks, high-quality lunchtime and evening food offerings and live entertainment.
The Group was thrilled to announce its rebrand from Revolution Bars Group plc to The Revel Collective plc in 2024, recognising the widened offering to our guests with both bars and pubs.
The Support Team still hang out at the old Ashton bar, which has evolved into our main office, but the rest of the Group has spread out from Aberdeen to Brighton, and even venturing across the sea to Belfast.
"It’s great to work for a company that not only encourages your progression but helps you explore the skills you wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to."
Eoin Smith Operational Support Supervisor
The first Revolution bar opened in 1996, with vodka at its heart, and in 2011 the Group ventured further afield to “Cuba”, creating the Revolución de Cuba brand which had focused on rum and Latin living. Both brands offer an excellent array of cocktails and food, with evening entertainment taking you into the early hours.
In 2000, the Group floated on the Alternative Investment Market, but was then taken private again in 2006. In 2015, the Group listed on the London Stock Exchange before returning to the Alternative Investment Market in 2020. The Group has chased an ambitious growth plan since listing in 2015, and acquired Peach Pubs in 2022. Following the 2024 Business Restructure, the Group holds 62 bars and pubs across the brands Revolution, Revolución de Cuba, Peach Pubs, and Founders & Co..
"My revolution story began un-wrapping sweets to infuse and create our handcrafted in-house vodka; shot glass in-hand, and utterly devoted to quality assurance."

Revitalising and refreshing the brand propositions are key, with the introduction of unique experiences like Guac-At-Table, Project Event Space, and the Revs House Party to name a few, alongside refocusing on site refurbishments and exciting expansion plans.
Who knows what the future holds…
